  Another weekend getaway and the destination far from the usual meet-up and venue of the Lipa Photography Circle for the photoshoot event held, Sunday, October 16, 2022, is the date marked in the calendar and everyone is excited. I am excited not only because of the event but being away from the hustle and bustle of city life where boredom is my companion in day-to-day life being a city man. We are granted to have exclusive use of the venue thru the effort of Van Amada and Sir Noel Loreto - founding President of Lipa Photography Circle. This is more on excitement, meeting new faces of our models and at the same time relaxation to some extent – cool breeze, tranquility and recharge from our busy lives.         Preparation – Behind the scene.   Ever since I had my camera, I have dreamed of traveling locally or abroad. Traveling gives me immense pleasure to be at peace-spiritually and psychologically and in both ways; From North to South of the country and a few places that I have been, it is such an overwhelming experience indeed, meeting new faces, learning about cultures and food tripping along the way, it is a total package per se. Having the best time in my life has always been like that. For anyone who loves to travel, the experience travelers gain is far more than usual. For some, it is a way of relaxation, getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and an escape from reality. Taking a picture captures the event and the story within the story and the memories of happy places, faces, and thoughts. Photo blogging is an approach we call, taking pictures and posting them, either we put the caption or not the picture itself tells the whole story of the places, people, or events within the frame.              

  Sin ce the pandemic hit the country, everything stops and everyone is glued to their home bored and tired mentally, The same as what I have experienced. Over the last two years of the pandemic, a lot of things have changed and the new normal is slowly adopted by the living Filipino people. A friend of mine invited me to Lipa Batangas to join for an open photoshoot and  I agreed immediately not only do I miss traveling but to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. As I marked the calendar dated March  6, 2022 – the excitement gives chills to my spine and I couldn’t help but push going to the south. I left the city as early as 4 am and arrived in Lipa City at 6.30 AM, ahead of the scheduled meet-up.
