  Why I Decided to Quit Photography: A Journey of Challenges, Changes, and Redirection   I have been in photography for 20 years- from film to digital. During my early days, I did not focus on what you call details. I just pressed the shutter button, then – boom, I have the image, but those days were a normal day for me, nothing much of the composition, technicalities, and the whole nine yards. Everything changed when I found a mentor to guide me in the right direction, but inside my head, it is nothing but a hobby as a whole. I remember one time , my mentor told me to print the taken pictures and sell for profits, and I did not follow his advice and continuously took pictures whenever there was a chance, and if an invitation or opportunity came along the way.   The plan did not fall as expected. The shoot location was changed last minute of the planning from Majayjay to Lucban. Thinking aloud, I said YES, and it is a perfect location just for a random photo shoot within the town of Lucban. June 2, Sunday morning, getting ready for the scheduled shoot, caffeine boost awakened my senses as a sumptuous breakfast filled my hunger. Thank you to the family of my model, whose kindness and hospitality are beyond reproach. The lovely dress justified the outcome; she is charming, captivating, and easy to handle, making for easy rock and smooth sailing. Fresh flowers bought add to the storytelling, the persona within, and the output as to what it is.   The shoot focuses not only on the outside beauty, dress, and the outcome, it is more on connection, emotions, and the captivity of the inner beauty itself.        I love the emotions, composition, and output.
