Coron: A Paradise within the Paradise :The Last Frontier
If there is a place in Palawan that I will never get tired of going back it is no other than CORON and yes to this beautiful and un-polluted place most especially the islands within the place that surrounds the majestic place set for Gods and Goddesses. The crystal clear water defines the beauty that nature bestowed upon us, the friendly people and sumptuous food that perfectly sits in my heart and in my mind, how can I ever forget the place where I left my heart? Whatever happens to Coron, stays in Coron, but mind you, I cannot stop spreading the good memories, fun and laughter that we had and nothing in between.
The first time I set foot to Coron my world stop
like a time freeze in a milliseconds then I realized that this is a dream come
true. Busuanga airport is not a first class but it serves the purpose of serving the the Coron and its tourist and
most importantly the IN and Out from Coron to Manila and other parts of Palawan. Roads are impressive
and the majestic mountains covered
with lush green trees- it only means
that locals were protected by their God who oversees them.
One of the few scenery and landscape crafted in God's hands, beautiful and calm. |
Coron is a place that
is not easy to reach in a sense of distance, time and money but if there is a
will there is a way as saying goes and this place has so much to offer, like food, landscapes,
beaches and friendly locals. Fresh and
cool air touches my skin
as I set foot and my mind was in relax
mood yet my heart goes whoops!

The summit
of the Mt. Tapyas is soothing to
the skin, mind and soul. Once you are on the peak the time stop and a sudden
freeze of your noisy and crazy life, it is like going back to the time that
jobs and money does not exist inside your mind, the hustle and bustle of city
life has been erased momentarily and all you need is to seize the day.

Coron untouched nature
gives an immense pleasure not only in the eyes of everyone who visited the
place but it also nourishes our soul the beauty of nature bestowed on us. A
God –given gift for humanity. The road improvement is in progress.

Fountain’s view at night. Here most people stays to chat
and relax from a long day work and simply observe people passing by.

Sunrise is waving for another beautiful day ahead.

This will always be a
constant reminder. A place that captured my heart.

The overall experience in Coron is unforgettable and memorable.
From my bucket list it was indeed a
fulfillment. As of this writing, I cannot help but think of going back in Coron
and why not? Money is nothing compared to experience and learning. Yes indeed,
Coron is a paradise within the Paradise. Created with incomparable beauty that
sets to capture one’s heart like mine and let alone my soul live in the
presence of heaven that I experienced. The food, the warm smile, friendly
people, sumptuous food and those motorcycle with no plate number ( yes, plate
number is not required, No crimes and beautiful community). The Maquinit
Hot spring that warm water is
good for relaxation, I do not have the
pictures while staying in Maquinit spring(How to get there: From Busuanga Airport, ride a van to Coron Town Proper
then take a 30-minute tricycle-ride to Maquinit (P300-P400,
two-way). Where to Stay: Maquinit is open from
8 AM to 8 PM only; therefore, staying overnight is highly unlikely. Find
affordable inns and hotels in the town proper of Coron instead).
The road condition is not good
where usually the fare will cost a little
high due to road condition. Having said
that, I am still having a day dream. Until
then!
