Lipa Photography Circle Fashion Week

Lights, cameras, models, glamor and glitz, set roll, and everyone's readiness for an adrenaline rush before the main event set forth. The event showcases the talents of models wearing the creations of one of the renowned designers from Rosario Batangas – FRANCKO BARBOSA LAPINA whose designs crafted through ingenuity and passion, fuel the success of the gown creation ready to showcase during the ramp, proudly and mighty.

The event was hosted by the Lipa Photography Circle-LPC whose aim is to promote local talents in modeling and showcase the creations of our local gown designs, diversity as it is. Parents on the other hand are supportive and enthusiastic and happy to see their teenage girls do the ramp walk as photographers ready to take the pictures as spectators eagerly and patiently waiting with their camera phones. On the other hand, models are getting ready wearing their best effort with mixed emotions, happiness, excitement, and a little nervousness.




                      



  

Behind the scenes, these young models are busy for their rehearsal before the start of the event- a warm-up.

Batangas is known not only for their famous Lomi, Goto, Coffee, and Scion families who shaped the economy during the Spanish era to this day but for beauty contests too. To name a few joined and official candidates for Mutya ng PILIPINAS- CALABARZON: Erika Ruth Marasigan (Calaca Batangas), Elisha Faith Galvez (Balayan, Batangas), Princess Mariel Palo( Agoncillo, Batangas) and the list goes on.

      It was  supposed to be a long  journey  to Pangasinan to  visit the  Sunflower farm but the notice  came too late so I decided to push thru  my plan to visit two sunflower  farms  in the province  of Quezon.  There are two sunflower farms in Quezon, one is in Tiaong and  in Candelaria about 30 minutes from Tiaong.   An entrance fee of  Php 100.00 and this fee goes to People with Disability (PWD) .  Sunshine farm is located  in Tiaong  Quezon along national highway. Sunshine Farm located in Barangay Lalig Tiaong  Quezon                                                     Ben - a PWD is one of the beneficiary that Sunshine farm is helping Salted eggs and Special dried fish in pure  olive out. Pista ng Itim na Nazareno

 Ang Pilipinas ang bukod tanging  Romano Katoliko sa buong Asya at ang populasyon ng Pilipinas ay binubuo ng Siyam napu't siyam na porsyento  ay mga Katoliko at ang  nalalabing bahagi ng mga relihiyon ay nahahati sa iba't -ibang sekta. Sa tuwing ika-9 ng Enero ng bawat taon ay  ipinagdiriwang ang Pista ng Itim na Nazareno  na ginaganap sa  Quiapo Maynila. Dito ang mga  deboto na galing pa sa iba't-ibang lugar sa Pilipinas ay nagkakasama-sama sa pagdiriwang na naging tradisyon na at kaugalian dala ng kanilang malalim na pananampalataya at sakripisyo sa buhay. Ayon sa kasaysayan “ Ang nasabing Nazareno o tinatawag na Nuestro Padre Nazareno, na dinala noong siglo 1800 ng Ordeng Recoletos at itinampok sa simbahang nakaharap sa tanyag na Plaza Miranda. Ang mga deboto ng Itim na Nazareno ay nagsisimba tuwing Biyernes at tuwing Enero 9, ipinagdiriwang ang kapistahan ng santong patron, kung saan itinuturing ito bilang isa sa pinakamalaki at tanyag na kapistahan sa
