Collaboration: The Run away Bride
Fast forward to 2024, when I finally put everything into action with the help of my friend and co-photographer from San Pascual, Batangas, who agreed to my idea. Afterward, I contacted my designer friend from Cabuyao, Laguna, and discussed the shoot details. She said yes and created not one but two wedding dresses. A meeting was set to meet the model and her mother to discuss the details of the shoot, including schedule, time, and place, as agreed.
The date is set for Sunday, September 29, 2024. On Friday night, I packed my bag with my camera and extra shirts to ensure I would not miss anything. I double-checked the things I needed before going to bed. Saturday is a big day for us.
We
will meet in Turbina Laguna with my co-photog, Rolly Salenga, who arrived early
at the meeting place at the 711 store. I ordered coffee to awaken my senses and
calm my sensory perception so that my brain would focus on getting the desired
results and details of the output per se.
On the
way, we bought a fresh flower to be used as props, the lady could not help but
ask a question if Ninna was the bride and I said Yes, she couldn’t believe what
she had heard and I replied, that the flower that we are going buy is for a photo shoot and not the actual wedding, the lady is relieved thinking that the bride is too young to get married.
