Ramp and Pose
Last September 17
Saturday of 2016 at Robinson Lipa-PFMA held its successful event for the new
batch of models who made the ramp. In my previous article, it is been a year
that Philippine Fashion Modelo Academy (PFMA) held its last ramp show. Last
Saturday, it was a ramp full of excitement and expectations not only from the
models itself but as well from the expectators of the event- not to mention
those facebook friends who will see the event pictures uploaded during and after
the event.
A ramp is the final
stage, it is the output product that everyone sees as a graduation that every
member of the family sees to witness. Excitement is the always the primary
factor that makes everyone giggle before the start of the show, during the show
and right after the show plus the pictures taken. Throughout the event
nothing is less expected to have, it is more on fun and ramp, showcasing the
talent in ramp modelling.
Pose and project - genuinely define thru their eyes. models. Batch 17 with guest model: Queenee Mercado
Their facial and eyes expression brings out the best in them, often not to
smile when they walk in the ramp ad hoc
while they stop and pose-that gestures define their character as model. Pride
as they bring to themselves that ego is not in control, pride that brings
honour to their little achievement that they themselves is not only happy but
satisfied as models to be. As the walk wearing
their best make-up- their smile and dress in confidence, all eyes are focus as
every steps slowly conquering the stage that models experience both excitement
and heart throbbing as they ramped.
Different facial expression, one common goal, one soul, models as they pose and project in front of the camera.
Ramp modelling is a showcase of
Haute couture that a true models
understand its meaning and implication not by chance but the value
within, like the dress their wear
whether a gown, cocktail dress, a ripped jeans
partner with -3 inches stilettos and
do the cat walk, it is the balance of
the gravity that either to pull or push, side to side as they reach at the
end of the stage and turn their back as pose and gestures coupled with their
eyes expressions as their project in front of the camera.
Confident as they
stand, execution is their weapon - PFMA Models batch 17.
As models wear different clothes as they ramp,
the output on how their carry themselves easily sees and recognize as they
ramp. Dress they wear depicts their true characters that
adds to their beauty inside out that the true definition of
their souls revealed as they pose and project.

Boys on the other hand
showcased their talent in ramping as they walk and project in front of the camera,
excitement as it brings not only to themselves alone but as well as for the
expectators of the event. Like female
models, boys can bring the natural looks
and talents as they conquer the stage, the twist of their body, the way they
look at the camera, the sequence of the
movement attuned to the music and gestures that make the output perfect.
